Hi I'm Jo, and I live just outside London in the UK. I have been a Hairdresser, Salon Owner, Business Owner and Educator for over 30 years.
During this time I have focused much of my career on teaching and helping young hairdressers progress, as well as continuing to attend to my regular clients. I worked very long hours, many of those being precious evenings and weekends. As a Mother of two gorgeous children and a lovely dog, it was a constant balancing act of earning money and finding time for my family. For a long time, I've felt like I was missing out on their lives, as well as my own.
Our I had always wanted to travel; there's so much in this beautiful world that I would love for myself and my family to see, but with such a tight schedule and commitments to my clients, it was impossible.
I wanted and needed to rebalance my life.
I am so grateful for an online business that gives me more time with my adorable fur baby Harvey. This photo was taken on one of our many long country walks that we enjoy so much.
Here I am with my two children. Our relationship has gone from strength to strength now I have more time to spend with them to make so many fun and amazing memories, there is nothing more precious than family.

I love adventure, travelling and experiencing new things. This was taken on one of our many visits to Turkey. With a portable online business, I get to travel when I want without missing anything with my business.
Over the last couple of years many people have had to adapt and change, finding, moving (and sometimes thrust) in new directions; this was me too. Overnight my busy 12-hour day schedule of back to back clients became zero and it was this experience of being unable to work that was the catalyst for me, not only to change, but also take control of my life and find the balance I was seeking for my whole family.
